Jo's big Middle East Adventure in 2008
Every time I get myself organized to 'upload' something onto this blog, I discover something new. Usually, I discover another way to feel inadequate because I can't edit the pictures properly (or at all) or correct the text (pick the errors and win) or get the details correct (ditto) , but today, I am discovering how to write something into the blog.
So here goes,
The pictures I have uploaded here feature a pretty random selection from a couple of thousand photos I took from mid-March to early May, travelling from Melbourne to Thailand, and on to Israel, Jordan and Egypt, and back home via Hong Kong.
The structure of the blog is such that my photos are in chronological order from the bottom to the top. This means that the most recent photos I upload are the first that you see, so you get to see the trip almost backwards. Interspersed occasionally, are photos of something completely unconnected from the journey - particularly my husband and sons, aka Jo's Boys. This is partly because I missed them so much while I was away.
I hope this is moderately interesting for my friends, and if not, be warned... the alternative is hours and hours of stifling yawns while I wax lyrical over half a dozen CDs and DVDs.
thanks for your indulgence,
Jo Thomson.
